The Catholic Churches of Stearns County
"Saint Mary's is the largest church in rural Stearns County, built in the Romanesque Revival style with several Gothic features. The church's main facade faces east, with a pair of square 130-foot high corner towers that make the transition at the tops to octagonal belfries supporting onion-shaped domes with Coptic crosses. The church was built with red brick produced in Menominie, Wisconsin, supported on massive dark-gray blocks quarried in the St. Cloud area."
